Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness… If you haven’t strolled in to the eclectic mix of styles at Liberty 123 on Park Lane, you will find your happy place in the charm of an era of Old World European flair.
Behind every successful woman is herself… that is the saying on a sign they sell at this inviting home décor and design store. Liberty Hanson, owner of Libery 123, does not take all the credit for her success — she opened the store eight years ago with her mother, Mary and it quickly became an icon for the home décor market in Kirkland. Their shared passion for home décor lead to the creation of LIBERTY 123 and the desire to assist people in bringing character and style to their homes.

What’s new at LIBERTY 123 Areas of Inspiration is new design center which inspires customers with fabric samples, examples of trends we are loving, and our favorite colors for the season. Have a burning design question? LIBERTY 123 now offers in-store Petite Consultations — an accessible way to get assistance with design dilemmas. Available Monday anytime and Wednesday through Friday evenings 5p-8p. Best to call for appointment and further details at 425-822-1232. Have more intensive décor needs? Liberty and Mary also offer in-home consultations.
… and the pursuit of happiness. Tell me something about yourself, which most people don’t know. I have a passion for combining vintage finds with contemporary styles, most of my home is filled with my funky finds and clean lined contemporary furniture. One of my favorite antique shows is deep in the heart of Texas, bringing back a truckload of goods for the store and, of course, a few gems for myself.
Where to like to unwind after work? Cactus, it’s easy, right next door, and John is my favorite bartender… he is always ready with a good drink and even better story.What do you think downtown Kirkland is missing as far as retail? Kirkland needs a casual deli, bakery, somewhere to get a sandwich and soup and later in the day a place to have a glass of wine.”

Judy Ford
{A word from Judy...}

I adore painting, cutting and pasting, but I didn't
discover that artistic twist until I was in my sixties.
I've lived a creative life, authored 11 books,
counseled thousands of people,
even been a guest on Oprah!
Articles on my work have appeared in over 1,000 publications.
It’s been wonderful.
Now I’m stepping out again,
having so much fun sharing my mixed-media collages
and papier-mâché art with others.
